Student Conduct & Contest Rules

Eligibility
Students must compete in the grade division corresponding to their current school year. Registering in a lower grade is prohibited.

Punctuality
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. Latecomers may not receive additional time.
🚫
Prohibited Items
Mobile phones, calculators unless specified, smart watches, and communication devices are prohibited.

Academic Integrity
Cheating, communication, plagiarism, or unauthorized materials will result in disqualification.

Guidelines for Online Competitions
Technical Requirements
- A stable internet connection and suitable device are required.
- Login credentials are provided after registration.
- Technical difficulties must be reported immediately.
Supervision
- Online contests may be supervised by schools or The Brainiac Factory.
- Parents must not assist students.
- Screen recording and screenshots are forbidden.
Disqualification Policy
Grounds for Disqualification
| Violation | Consequence |

| Unauthorized device | Immediate disqualification, no refund |
| Communication with another student | Immediate disqualification |
| Incorrect grade division | Results voided |
| Sharing contest content publicly | Disqualification and possible future ban |
| Impersonation | Disqualification of both parties |
Appeals
Appeals must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the result announcement. SIMCC's final decision is binding.
